Dr. Robert Strang, Nova Scotia s chief medical officer of health, announced Wednesday the province is lowering the age for AstraZeneca eligibility to 40 years old.  His announcement comes at a time when there are 11,000 doses of the vaccine sitting in refrigerators across the province, with no appointments booked to get those shots in arms.
