SYNOPSIS:

RTE viewers were ridiculously delighted by the Late Late Show country special as Una Healy opened the show.
Una alongside Cliona Hagan and Claudia Buckley sang some of Dolly Parton s biggest hits such as Jolene, I Will Always Love You and 9 to 5.

A MISS Bikini Ireland finalist has joined RTE’s brand new dating show looking for love after tough times and a “toxic” relationship.
Shannen Treanor, 25, will take part in Love is in the Air, which sees socially distanced singles date offline and outdoors during a pandemic.

The mum-of-one said she had been busy focusing on work after becoming single but started to miss the dating world when the weather turned colder.
The Irish seem to talk more than other people, and to take more joy from it. There are times when they have arguments simply for the sake of talking, and they don t always mind being overheard, because they love an audience. Two Irishmen in a pub may be silent. Add a stranger at the other end of the room, and they ll start talking, putting on a subtle performance.
This trait is at the heart of the comedy in The Snapper, which is a very funny movie about the people packed into small houses on a small street in a tight little neighborhood in Ireland.
