Why Prince George and Princess Charlotte argue over homeschooling

AARON CHOWNGetty Images Like so many other families across the UK, Kate Middleton and Prince William have entered back into the world of homeschooling their children this week, as England was placed under yet more tight national lockdown restrictions. In an announcement made on Monday night (4 January), Prime Minister Boris Johnson told the nation that primary schools, secondary schools and colleges must move to remote provision because we now have to do everything we possibly can to stop the spread of the disease. While clearly necessary for the coronavirus pandemic, the update will not have been the most welcome of news to busy parents, who spent much of last year trying to juggle childcare, education and their own jobs. And although the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have access to many more privileges than most, they too will probably be sighing in frustration about the prospect of having to restart homeschool this week.
