Here’s a breakdown of available alcohol-free options:
Spirits
Zero-proof spirits often mimic the taste, aroma, mouthfeel and sometimes the burn of whiskey, tequila, gin and more. They are made by distilling botanicals like agave and oak to create the essence of traditional spirits. Brands to try are Monday and Seedlip (herbal gin alternatives), Caleño (tropical), Mockingbird Spirit (tequila alternative), Ritual (whiskey, tequila and gin), and Lyre’s (American malt, amaretti and more).
Wine and beer
Many alcohol-free drinks on the market mimic wines and beers. Athletic Brewing Company and BrewDog offer entire lines of non-alcoholic beers in a can, and there are a lot of local craft options. HopTea is made with real black tea and hops, TÖST is a dry sparkling beverage made with tea (and it comes in a wine bottle), and Grüvi makes both wine and beer (bubbly rosés, IPAs and more).

Nostalgic recipe: Old-Fashioned Homemade Banana Pudding
The key to this sublime dessert is the from-scratch vanilla pudding.
The ultimate homemade banana pudding recipe
By Kristen Massad
Old-Fashioned Homemade Banana Pudding is comfort layered in a bowl. It’s a perfect spring dessert that has created so many memories in the kitchen. And the way to make this nostalgic dessert really special is to make the vanilla pudding 100% from scratch.
Homemade vanilla pudding is so creamy and smooth and has the purest vanilla bean flavor. Although the key flavor in this dessert is bananas, the vanilla pudding does not actually have any bananas in it. It is made with only five ingredients and worth every minute of your time making it from scratch. Once the pudding is made, it is lightened up with fresh whipped cream, layered with freshly sliced bananas and Nilla wafers, and finished off with a dollop of fresh whipped cream.

They were eager to try the lechón (whole roasted pig stuffed with herbs) and Filipino street foods that Chen touted in his April 20 video.
