One of Utah’s freshman congressmen narrowly survived the Republican 2022 Nominating Convention, failing to secure his party’s nomination and being forced into a primary election in June to appear on the November ballot.
Perhaps the only intrigue going into the Utah Republican Party state convention was how loudly delegates would cheer for Sen. Mike Lee and whether Rep. John Curtis would survive.
