According to fair officials, some 900,000 people turned out to enjoy attractions over the course of the fair’s 11-day run. Though most were from the city or from surrounding suburbs like Edmond or Yukon, about a quarter came from out of town. Direct spending into the OKC economy generated by the 11 days of fun was estimated to have been at least $103 million.
