The outgoing president actually held a briefing on the virus today. His first public remark since joe biden was declared president elect. He touted the progress, of course, toward a vaccine which he claimed could be available for some people as soon as next month. However, he was largely silent on the record surge in cases, the death toll, ignoring the alltime high in hospitalizations now approaching 70,000 people. As you watch this next bit please remember lockdowns are up to governors and mayors. They happen at the local level. They arent a federal matter. But here is trump vowing no lockdowns even though he seems to suggest here that this presidency might soon be ending in keeping with the voters wishes. I will not go. This administration will not be going to a lockdown. Hopefully whatever happens in the future who knows which administration it will be, i guess time will tell.
