LEBANON Allysia Vaultonburg, Canton, has been initiated into the Chi Mu chapter of Kappa Delta Pi, the international honor society for education, at McKendree University. The chapter is observing its 25th anniversary in 2021. Vaultonburg is a first-year pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Education in SPE/ELE Education degree.
Founded in 1911, Kappa Delta Pi inducts those who have exhibited the ideals of scholarship, integrity of service, and commitment to excellence in teaching and allied professions. It is the largest honor society in education, representing more than 600 chapters and a membership exceeding 1.2 million. Dr. Timothy Richards is the Chi Mu chapter s faculty sponsor.
