Columbus man charged with murder after body found in Alum Creek Lake Falycia Campbell © Provided by WSYX – Columbus A Columbus man has been charged with murder after a body was found within a plastic tote in Alum Creek Lake. The Delaware County Sheriff’s Office said Timothy Baldrick, 43, been charged with the murder of Timothy Marcum. A kayaker who was cleaning up the lake discovered Marcum s body in what he thought was a cooler, but it turned out to be the tote containing his body. Deputies said the initial cause of death appears to be an apparent gunshot wound. Baldrick was arrested and charged at the Delaware County Jail, where he was being held on charges of tampering with evidence and abuse of a corpse.
