MARICOPA, AZ â Police are asking for the public s help to track down the suspect(s) involved in a deadly hit-and-run along State Route 347 Wednesday night.
Gila River police say a construction worker was killed after being hit on SR 347 and Casa Blanca Road near Maricopa.
The victim, who Gila River police said they are not identifying at this time, was a Native American man who was working on a roadway resurfacing project in a designated construction zone.
The suspect vehicle was described by witnesses as a small passenger car, police said.
