A university student in Hong Kong who died after a fall in a multistorey car park near a protest last year might have jumped from height in the building by mistake, an investigator suggested at an inquest on Monday.
Senior Detective Constable Lam Chi-keung raised the theory that Alex Chow Tsz-lok might have leapt over a small concrete wall on the third floor of the car park in Tseung Kwan O under the misconception he would land on a path behind the wall, instead of plunging four metres down to the level below.
