Indian students can now earn dual degree from Indian and foreign higher educational institutions. The dual degree can be obtained for separate courses simultaneously. The Indian government is taking initiatives in this regard to collaborating with foreign institutions.
The collaboration between Indian and foreign institutions will enable the benefit of credit transfer and joint degrees. Soon it is going to be notified by the University Grand Commission. The commission has already finalized the regulatory draft for these programmes and collaboration.
