1.1.1 Authority These regulations are amended pursuant to the authority of R.I. Gen. Laws Chapters 21-27 and 23-1 and are developed for establishing minimum standards for food safety and sanitation in food businesses and food establishments.
1.1.2 Purpose The purpose of these regulations is to establish minimum standards for food safety and sanitation in food businesses and food establishments in Rhode Island. These regulations shall be liberally construed and applied to promote the purpose of protecting the public health.
1.1.3 Scope These regulations establish definitions; sets standards for management and personnel, food
