Have begun to evacuate dozens of critically ill patients from a rebel held suburb near damascus. Last week, International Aid agencies made an appeal to president assad to allow the evacuation of seven children with cancer. The first of the patients were taken out of Eastern Ghouta overnight by the red cross and the syrian arab red crescent. More patients should be evacuated in the coming days as part of a deal between the government and rebels. But hundreds more are in need of treatment.
