Quiet westbound as you hit the dublin interchange. No delays out of oakland to san francisco. Breaking news. Crews this morning are on the scene of a deadly fire in oakland. It began just after 1 00 this morning at a four plex on east lawn street near 63rd avenue. Investigators say a man and a woman in a lower unite died. The unit above was damaged. The Fire Department said there are no other injuries. Investigators are looking into the cause. They say the four plex was the site of a previous fire that destroyed the two other units. Right now, people in east Contra Costa County are huddling at two Warming Centers while gas lines are being repaired. Thousands of customers have been dealing with freezing temperatures and absolutely no heat. As you know, its a chilly morning. Pg e has shut off gas service in Discovery Bay.
