Absolute Auctions & Realty Inc.
Absolute Auctions & Realty Inc. is a full-service online auction company that was founded in 1946. We began serving the auction and appraisal needs of the Hudson Valley, N.Y., and have expanded to serving the auction needs of clients all over the globe. Our clients include municipalities and private sellers selling one item or an entire fleet or estate.
We pride ourselves on our reputation and have dedicated ourselves to the auction method of marketing and promotion. Our professional team is always pursuing new technology and methods to better serve our clients and buyers. Our auctioneers are active members of both the National Auctioneers Association and the NYS Auctioneers Associations, serving as Past Presidents of both and currently on the Foundation board and teaching classes for the NAA.
Through the support, generosity and passion of workplaces and individuals,
United Way of Greater Stark County has exceeded its 2020 Annual Campaign goal by raising $5.5 million to provide health, education and financial stability services to Stark and Carroll County residents. What a caring community we live in!
Coastal Pet Products recently donated 300 pounds of food to the YWCA of Alliance, allowing the nonprofit to serve Meals on Wheels patrons at Alliance Towers with vital shelf-stable food.
Congratulations to
Tim Yoder on receiving the North Canton YMCA’s 2020 Ron Russell Perseverance Award for his ability to inspire others with his never-give-up attitude.
Frigid temperatures will continue for the next week across the state of Iowa. Wind chills near and below zero are expected throughout the daytime over the next seven days. In the overnight and early morning hours, the air will become dangerous, feeling like it is between 10 and 20 below. Dr. Tim Yoder with Tri County Veterinary Clinic in Pella reminds all pet owners to take proper care of their animals and to ensure they stay warm during this cold stretch. Arctic air will be in place through early next week, with another major cooldown expected this coming weekend, with wind chill values as low as 30 below zero possible by Friday night. Stay tuned to KNIA/KRLS for the latest winter weather information.
Sometimes every day; sometimes a few days a week. Always at least a mile at a time.
Yoder, 64, of Louisville, started swimming 26 years ago during recovery from a horrible bicycle accident, he said.
He kept up the practice as his job as an international flight attendant for Delta Airlines took him around the world, hopping in hotel swimming pools whenever his schedule allowed.
When Yoder began the long process of recovering from COVID-19 last year, he went back into the water as soon as he was able. He now swims about six miles a week, every day but Sunday.
The North Canton YMCA has honored Yoder s tenacity with the 2020 Ron Russell Perseverance Award.
