The company behind the new project, Church Street Hospitality, Inc., is an established name in Bennington County, with a portfolio that includes The Dorset Inn; Barrows House Inn & Restaurant, also in Dorset; and The Publyk House, a popular Bennington restaurant on Route 7A. The new planned restaurant, Pearl’s Place & Pantry, marks Church Street’s second, almost concurrent foray into Manchester. The company recently partnered with Southern Vermont Arts Center to launch curATE café at SVAC, which is opening to the public later this year.
