Michigan picked up another marquee commitment today, snaring former Oklahoma commit and 4 DL prospect Derrick Moore. This had been speculated over the past week or so, and today Moore put his ink to paper:

This is a pretty unique win, considering Moore was seldom mentioned in Michigan recruiting updates until a couple weeks ago. Moore was seen as a firm commit to Oklahoma when Lincoln Riley bolted for USC and the door re-opened. Michigan brought him on campus and quickly trended in the right direction. The optimism was muted at first because of an NCAA rule preventing teams from recruiting players from high schools whose recent head coaches had since been hired to an off-field role by that team.
