ANTIG0 Tim Prunty, longtime director of business services with the Unified School District of Antigo, who retired in January 2023, has been named the Wisconsin Association of School Business
The Unified School District of Antigo has been working for quite awhile to get the Noboken Nature Center built, and 2020 has brought substantial progress to the project.
The school district has owned the 168 acres in Upham since 1931. In the past 30-plus years, itâs been used to serve the educational needs of students.
Located just north of Antigo, off of Highway J at Noboken Lake, the school forest continues to progress in becoming a year-round environmental education center that will increase the use of the school forest.
The lodge will have electricity, full restrooms and a kitchen. There will be a deck, covered porch, large classroom and a display area for the districtâs taxidermy collection.
