Could hear shots fired as they arrived. Jeff police say the gunman held up a big five Sporting Goods store in san bruno and made off with a rifle and shells. Police say he came to the contruction site next to the hospital after that and began shooting. When Police Arrived on scene the suspect was on the top of the building under construction. Officers were forced to shoot the gunman out of fear for the safety of the public. the rifle was directed at the hospital. Officers directed their firearms at the suspect who then lowered the riflepointing it down below. Three officers fired, neutralizing the suspect. The suspect is deceased.
