Trevor R. Raichura (5 out of 5 stars) This is Tim Hughes third major release, and probably the most highly anticipated one to date. He has become known for such church favourites as Here I Am to Worship, Beautiful One, and more. Would this CD live up to the success of his previous efforts? The answer, in a word, is yes. But in several other words, here are my feelings about this release.
I have always loved Tim Hughes lyrics more than anything. He finds ways to bring the praise, but also to dialogue with God. He expresses his own weakness and humanness, and also his inability to follow God s commands without His own help. I love it!

Picking up where the original Sonicflood left off, Acquire The Fire has taken rock n’ roll worship as their own. The first track “Lift” does a good job at introducing the listener to the worship experience, with a heavy dose of guitars. This is one of only a few original compositions made for this disc, but the Vineyard songs are well picked, as is Tim Hughes’ “Here I Am To Worship” and Mercy Me’s “I Can Only Imagine”. Once again, Acquire The Fire make a decent collection of worship songs aimed at rock n’ roll worshippers. That is the benefit and drawback of this CD. While it is well played, and the arrangements are well presented, it lacks immediacy of worship and approachability. “I Can Only Imagine” has become a standard cover that is used too often.
