The proposed changes to the building would take the charm of the existing cottage and essentially slap a third story on top of it creating an eye sore and destroying the business, the existing restaurant is not up to code in as far as there is an alley way to access the back courtyard and we believe adding this addition will be a great loss for the residents of Bernal Heights and there is really nothing else to replace it. The owner who is from out of town is proposing a compound pharmacy be added to this third story with a series of awkward stair cases which will run through the courtyard pie
