And how to address them. United states is a very compassionate country and you have an awful lot of government activities that affect poor members of the population and in one way or another. We have welfare programs, welfare spending at one time or another that adds up to well over 1 trillion. That can be in things like healthcare, directing supports of one kind or another. We are not really here to talk about those policies today. We want to talk about another set of Government Policies
The price of insulin and other lifesaving prescription drugs are increasingly more expensive. In response, the Democrats’ so-called “Inflation Reduction Act” imposed a $35 monthly out-of-pocket price ceiling on insulin for Medicare recipients. But does this actually address the reason why these drugs are so expensive, or are they missing the mark?
