Fire at Cogra Moss continues to blaze

Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service are currently dealing with a large wildfire in the area of Cogra Moss, near Lamplugh.
Cumbria police are asking people to stay away from the area.
They say there is no need for the evacuation of homes but people are being advised to shut their windows and doors due to the large amount of smoke from the fire.
Ryan Keggie Wilks, 13, who sent in a photo, said: “It still raging and has spread all across the hills.
“These shots were taken from my back garden where we have an excellent view of Cogra Moss, Ennerdale and beyond.”
