1/3 West Drayton upgraded platform access 2/3 West Drayton ticket hall and gateline 3/3 West Drayton TfL Improvements The 183-year-old West Drayton station has been transformed ahead of its inclusion on the Elizabeth line. The major redevelopment was part of Network Rail’s station enhancement programme carried out in preparation for Elizabeth line services. Upgrades included new step-free platform access, lift installation, and a new glass and steel extension providing an additional entrance. A new covered walkway and footbridge, gateline and customer information screens have also been installed as part of the station’s improvements. Platforms have also been extended to cater for the Elizabeth line’s 200m trains.
