Sign Up Dozens of charities in the north-east are to share £368,000 from a coronavirus pandemic hardship fund. The cash comes from the Fairer Aberdeen project, which will be awarded to 47 local charities and community organisations. Applications for a maximum of £15,000 had to be submitted to the Aberdeen City Council fund by January this year.

Sign Up An Aberdeen society has donated £35,000 to local charities in the north-east as part of efforts to give back to the community. The Trades Widows Fund Charity, of the Seven Incorporated Trades of Aberdeen, officially donated the money to 18 different causes yesterday at a special ceremony at the organisation’s Trinity Hall on Holburn Street.
