TILBURY – The rain may have scared away some visitors, but it didn’t stop Santa Claus from coming to town for his annual parade here Saturday night.
More than 325 vehicles turned out to see Old Saint Nick at the drive-by event at Tilbury Auto Mall.

A traditional parade couldn’t be held during the COVID-19 pandemic, so guests stayed in their vehicles and passed by the stationary floats.
The event was originally scheduled for the previous week but was postponed because of a potential rainstorm.
