Climber rescued after fall, leg injury in Eldorado Canyon State Park Boulder County Sheriff s Office and last updated 2021-03-31 22:32:38-04 BOULDER COUNTY, Colo. — Firefighters and rescuers helped a climber who fell and injured his leg in Eldorado Canyon State Park Wednesday. The Boulder County Communications Center received a call for an injured climber around 12:15 p.m. in the area of the Wind Tower in Eldorado Canyon State Park. The 32-year-old man was lead-climbing the Tigger Route when his handhold broke, causing him to fall and slide approximately 10 feet. His climbing partner was able to prevent him from falling further and secured him in place.
