The court heard today how the then candidate picked up the phone and called this man, david pecker, former publisher of a tabloid, the national enquirer, to discuss whether to pay off a Playboy Model who was shopping around a story of having a year long affair with trump. Before the trial resumed though, thejudge held a fiery hearing to determine if mr trump violated a gag order, which bans the former president from verbally attacking the jury and witnesses.
