The concert will feature Princeton University Steel Band with guest steel band Tiger Chunes, a student run organization. This concert will feature a wide variety of Caribbean music played in various styles on the steel drum. Free, Unticketed.
The Princeton University Steel Band will perform traditional soca and calypso songs, as well as classic pop and classical pieces from Calypso Rose to Philip Glass to The Eagles. The newly formed student organization, PU Steel Ensemble: Tiger Chunes, will also perform a set with Kendall K. Williams and Josh Quillen.
