CLEMSON, S.C. Three Clemson athletes took home ACC Performer of the Week honors for their efforts at the Clemson Opener on Friday, Dec. 2. Daniel Cope (Men's Field), Marie Forbes (Women's Field) and Wanya McCoy (Men's Track) were all recognized for their exceptional performances, the conference announced on Tuesday. Wanya McCoy | Freshman | 300 Meter, 60 Meter McCoy dazzled in the season's first competition, breaking a school and facility record in the 300 meters with his incredible time of 32.53 seconds. That mark is good for third-best in NCAA history. He also took first place in the 60 meters at the event after posting a qualifying time of 6.69, which currently ranks fourth nationally.
