South Dakota State University students voice their opinions and hope to save the university's Dairy Research and Training Facility, which is set to close in June.
Topics ranging from Harry Potter and unicorns to chemistry, engineering and robotics, students from kindergarten through middle school are being exposed to the potential of what higher education can do for them in the future.
According to previous Globe-News reports, the Kids’ College program at Amarillo College made its return after the COVID-19 pandemic prevented them from hosting events in 2020. The camps began earlier this month at both Ascension Academy and the Washington Street campus of the college. Camps are scheduled through the end of July.
Tiffany Van Buren, the Kids’ College coordinator at AC, said it feels amazing to her to get back to “normal.”
