Tiffany Tilley noted James’ narrow 2022 victory – about 1,600 votes over Democrat Carl Marlinga – in calling James 'one of the most vulnerable Republicans in 2024., and said he 'has failed to get anything done on behalf of our community.'
Marlinga, 76, of Sterling Heights, said he is the best candidate to represent the 10th’s residents and can defeat Republican James after losing to him by a mere 0.5% in the November 2022 election.
