A 10yearold boy was seriously injured yesterday afternoon in an apparent shark attack at a hawaii beach. Witnesses say the child was bitten on the thigh while body boarding about 30 feet from shore. The boy was taken to a local hospital in serious condition after the attack. After the attack ocean fety officialal posted shark warning signs strongly recommending that people stay out of the water.
