Reporter hi, this has been backed up like this here, the southbound lanes for the embarcadero for the entire day and as you mentioned this is the reason why. Check that out over there. Washington street, all the lanes are blocked off southbound. That means all those cars are having to turn into the financial district. Its going to be like this for the next two weeks. In case anyone doesnt know by now, construction of super bowl city along the embarcadero is in full swing. Traffic is shut down on Market Street until main on the embarcadero. Nearby streets have been clogged most of the day. How long have you been in this . 45 minutes. Reporter hes on battery street just trying to get south of market.
