Police appeal after Oxford rape and robbery POLICE are appealing for witnesses after four serious incidents across Oxfordshire this week. In appeals online, officers have urged anybody who saw something or might have dash-cam footage to get in touch.

Woman dies after crash in the fog A woman in her 70s died after a horror crash on the A418. She was driving a grey Fiat Pinto in the direction of Tiddington at around 5pm on December 7 when she crashed with a yellow Mini driving in the opposite direction on Thame Road.

But now police have confirmed that despite the ‘best efforts from medical professionals’ she has passed away. The driver of the Mini was left with minor injuries and has since been discharged from hospital. No arrests have been made. The investigating officer, PC Sarah Davies, from the Joint Operations Roads Policing Unit, said: “First and foremost our thoughts are with the family of the woman who has sadly died as a result of the collision. “They are being supported by specially trained officers. “I am appealing again for any witnesses to this collision, or to anybody who may have information about what happened to please contact us.
