The Pennsylvania State Police at Bedford are investigating a criminal homicide that occurred Saturday afternoon in Snake Spring Township.
State police said they were called to the scene in the townshipâs Mile Level area, east of Bedford, just before 2 p.m. Saturday and found a Bedford man, Brian Wayne Hunter, 62, had been shot and killed.
Following a preliminary investigation, a criminal homicide warrant was issued for Tico Octavious Franklin, 38, of Bedford, according to state police, who said Franklin shot and killed Hunter at a home just off Route 30 and fled the scene in a stolen vehicle, which was later recovered along Interstate 70 in Maryland.
