Lufthansa has been ordered by a Bangalore consumer court to pay Rs 4.5 lakh as reimbursement for airfares and Rs NR 25,000 as compensation to a child and his mother for denying boarding in an Athens-bound flight. The court ruled that Lufthansa s ground staff had wrongfully denied boarding, citing improper travel documents.
The National Company Law Tribunal has sought the consent of the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India and the Committee of Creditors on Go First’s plan to refund money to passengers booked on their flights post 3 May the day airline suspended operations
