TOWN OF WATERFORD â Raelynn Wankowski is only 10 weeks old, and she already has been to her first reunion.
The newborn and her parents, Justin and Rachel Wankowski, went to the local firehouse Wednesday to reunite with the firefighters who helped to deliver Raelynn into the world.
It was the first baby delivery in the nearly 70-year history of the Tichigan Volunteer Fire Co.
So the Fire Company invited the Wankowski family to the station Wednesday for a celebration where Raelynn could meet her heroes, and vice versa.
It was the first time that the firefighters had seen Raelynn since her birth on Nov. 3.

Warden Marcus Medina responded to snagging complaints regarding the salmon run while on patrol. He found two men snagging salmon using spoons and plain treble hooks. The two violators had also been found guilty of similar activities in the same year.
Warden Medina contacted an archery hunter found hunting over illegal bait and on county land that is closed to hunting.
Warden Medina took enforcement action against an individual who was found shining deer while in possession of a .380 Ruger handgun, a shotgun and archery equipment.
Warden Andrew Starch responded to two calls to help deer in predicaments. The first was a doe stuck in a new construction foundation basement. The second was a buck with its antlers tangled in a nylon cargo net in a backyard. Starch was able to release both deer back to the wild.
TOWN OF WATERFORD â A Town of Waterford resident reportedly died in a crash involving a farm tractor and a pickup truck in the town. The victim has not been publicly identified by authorities.
The Tichigan Volunteer Fire Company was notified Monday after 3:30 p.m. of a motor-vehicle accident involving a farm tractor and car on Territorial Drive, just west of Marsh Road, according to a news release from Tichigan Fire.
Initial dispatch indicated the driver of the tractor was bleeding and unconscious. Tichigan Fire & Rescue units immediately responded, upon dispatch calling for additional resources, including Flight for Life, prior to arrival on scene.
