State prison inmate charged with assault
While corrections officers were attempting to restrain Keira Blunt, an inmate at the state Correctional Institution at Muncy, the 35-year-old woman kicked one of the officers and said “I’m going to spit on you, bi ,” state Trooper Brian Siebert alleged in an affidavit.
“I’ll bite your (expletive) face off,” Blunt, of Reading, told the officers as they worked to get her under control on the afternoon of Oct. 11.
“Lucky I’m strapped up or I’d have knocked all your (expletive) out,” Blunt told the officers once they got her under control, Siebert said. The officers had to place “a spit hood” over her after she started spitting, the trooper said.
