York County Regional Police Department has agreed to pay $3 million to Marisa Vicosa, whose children were kidnapped and murdered by her husband, Robert, in 2021.
A York County DA s spokesperson said a consultant was hired based on concerns raised by the state Attorney General s Office about the handling of the Vicosa case.
In November of 2021, Robert Vicosa, a former Baltimore County police officer, abducted his two young daughters in York County and went on a days-long crime spree across Pennsylvania and Maryland.
A settlement has been reached between the York County Regional Police department and Marosa Vicosa, the mother of two York County girls who were shot and killed by their father in 2021.
