SEATTLE A trio of soggy storm systems are poised to race through the Pacific Northwest over the next four days bringing heavy rains and periods of gusty winds, with enough rainfall in the mountains for potential river flooding.

The winds will be rather old hat for typical late autumn storms but the rains could be heavy enough to trigger widespread flooding on rivers in the Cascade and Olympic Mountains.
