Las Vegas Magazine

Love and marriage certainly had a heck of a 2020. With the pandemic’s effects, many weddings across the world were postponed until this year. Here in Las Vegas, the Marriage Capital of the World, that means the rest of 2021 is likely to be busy, busy, even busier than a normal year.
Reservations are key here for your nuptials, besides getting the actual marriage certificate. To get your marriage certificate, you’ll need to fill out and print the application, then head to the
Clark County Marriage License Bureau (
201 E. Clark Ave.) downtown. You must both appear in person, and it can be busy, so be prepared to wait. Make sure you have proper identification before you get in line. And although the Office of Civil Marriages can perform civil ceremonies, time right now is extremely limited and is by appointment only, so it might be wise to seek other options.
