FLORENCE, Wis. Leff’s Sports Bar in Florence will host a Spring Break-Up Party from noon to close Saturday.
Raffle tickets will be sold to raise money for the local chapter of K.A.M.O., or Kids and Adults Mentoring Outdoors.
First prize is Husqvarna 545 chain saw sponsored by Leff’s and Bob’s Midland Service of Aurora, Wis.; second prize is $50 cash sponsored by Leff’s; and third prize is $25 Leff’s gift certificate. Drawings are at 7 p.m. Winners don’t need to be present. The event also will have drink specials and door prizes. Tickets are $5 each or three for $10.
Jamestown, ND (NewsDakota.com) – The boy’s Stutsman County Tournament started Thursday at the Jamestown Civic Center with four games of action. Friday and Saturday will include four games as well, starting at 2 pm each day with games following every two hours. Results from the first day:
Edgeley-Kulm-Montpelier Rebels 62 – South Border Mustangs 26
The EKM Rebels finished the first quarter with a 23-0 lead and did not look back as they cruised to a 36 point win over the South Border Mustangs in the first game of the tournament. Seniors Alex Huber and Chayse Entzi led the Rebels with 24 and 17 points, respectively, and Entzi added 12 rebounds, including 6 on the offensive end.
