200,000 students at home. arthel: an air force pilot is killed after f-16 crashed near las vegas. marking the third crash for the military in just two days. jennifer griffin joins us now live from the pentagon with more on this story. jennifer? good morning, arthel. the f-16 crash at 10:30 a.m. local time yesterday, the identity of the u.s. air force thunder bird s pilot is being withheld until later today while next of kin are being notified. the f-16 crashed over the nevada test and training range during a routine ariel demonstration training flight outside of air force base near las vegas. it marks the third crash for the thunder birds in the past two years. the thunder birds are the air force wants premier flight demonstration team and perform at dozens of air shows throughout the country each year. it s the third military aircraft to crash in two days killing four marines
