VV’s team finished on 12 points from 26 games in the Arabian Gulf League, which ended last night with Thulani Serero s Al Jazira as champions.
VV has been with the Arabian Gulf League since November last year and has taken charge of 20 league winning three, drawing two and losing 15.
The Serbian took over six games into the season with the club having already lost five and has been unable to rescue them from a horrible run of the drop.

Thulani Serero’s Al Jazira defeated Khorfakkan 3 – 1 on Tuesday night to beat Bani Yas to the UAE top flight title on the final day of the season.
