Buddy the Dog became quite the celebrity in the Three Tree Point neighborhood of Burien and on KING 5 s Evening.
His owner, Dan Lishner, said he could watch Buddy play with the sea creatures for hours. In fact, the 12-year-old dog’s longest swim was more than 4 hours long.
Last month, when Dan Lishner died suddenly, Buddy found himself with nowhere to go. A neighbor immediately took him in and the entire neighborhood rallied to help him find a new home.

I was walking at Constellation Park at around 3:20 today and saw a HUGE whale (no dorsal fin) surface slowly and spout…twice! What a thrill! It was much bigger than an orca. I would love to know what it was.

I was working in the 6300 block just above Beach drive, when one of my employees pointed out some movement in the water, at first I thought it was a big sea lion, until it surfaced again and I could see the size. The whale was surprisingly close to shore.
