Three Rivers announces $3 million âPromiseâ scholarship program for graduates By Will Kriss

THREE RIVERS, MI (WKZO AM/FM) â Monday, Three Rivers Mayor Tom Lowry announced a new fundraiser campaign for its graduating high school students, known as the Three Rivers Promise (TRP).
According to the announcement, the goal of the Promise is to provide every graduate of Three Rivers High School with a scholarship toward tuition and mandatory fees for post-secondary education at Michigan public colleges and vocational schools.
Mayor Lowry will also be the president of the TRP program.
âMaking the Promise happen is a community-wide effort by the people and friends of the Three Rivers area to ensure that our young people are able to pursue advanced learning after high school,â Mayor Lowry said in a video announcement. âTRP is volunteer-driven and organized to establish a permanent endowment as well as to continuously raise funds
