The Rhine level keeps sinking and sinking, more and more rubbish is appearing at the water’s edges. In Bonn and other cities, there are squabbles about who should remove the rubbish. Niederkassel is making matters simple. But even here freeing the banks of the Rhine from rubbish is not unproblematic.
