The Centre for Covid-19 Situation Administration (CCSA) said that the number of new cases is expected to rise further next week. Boon Vanasin, chairman of the Thonburi Healthcare Group, on Friday said the government s purchase of Moderna and Pfizer vaccines was slow because it did not sign contracts with manufacturers.

SET-listed Thonburi Healthcare Group (THG) is forging a new partnership with a Thai oil and gas giant for a healthcare venture this year, hoping to catch a global trend as the country is deemed an aged society. THG is in talks with the company to invest in healthcare and life science businesses, Tanatip Suppradit, THG vice-chairman and chief executive, said on Tuesday. He declined to name the company, saying only a partnership is the right approach given the rapid changes in the business environment.
